Dr. Andrea Buckler was inspired to become a doctor after experiencing knee problems while playing high school and college sports. “I chose family medicine with sports medicine to help people understand their bodies and empower them to take control of their health,” said Dr. Buckler.

In addition to sports medicine, Dr. Buckler specializes in osteopathic treatments for a variety of ailments, including back and neck pain, headaches, sinus congestion and asthma.

She earned her medical degree from Kansas City University School of Medicine and Biosciences in Kansas City, Mo. She then completed her family medicine residency at Spartanburg Regional Hospital in Spartanburg, S.C., and a sports medicine fellowship with Family Medicine Residency of Idaho in Boise. Dr. Buckler is board certified in osteopathic family medicine.

Born and raised in Vancouver, Wash., Dr. Buckler enjoys playing volleyball and soccer, and spending time with her husband and dog.
